Adults and children, please join us for Sunday School following the morning worship service, from 11:00 am- 11:45 pm. This is a great opportunity to continue learning and growing. We have the following classes available during the summer of 2021:
Declaring God’s goodness to a lost culture: Truth, identity and purity from a Christian worldview
[meeting in the Sanctuary] God’s word commands us not to let anyone take us captive by false teaching, and this has been a challenge for the church since Pentecost. Our culture has rejected the Bible’s teaching on truth, identity and purity and created a counterfeit religion to replace it. As we witness our nation’s growing hostility toward Christians, it is tempting to become angry and discouraged, rather than have compassion toward those who are lost. The goal of this 9-week class is to help us identity anti-Christian ideas, ground us in Biblical truth, and point us back to God’s unchanging goodness.
Youth Sunday School
Teens (going into 7th -12th grade) will meet in the Youth Room, located in the BBC office building across the street. The teens are studying through the book of Ezra with Pastor Caleb. They’ll be diving into some of the key themes found throughout the book such as God’s faithfulness to His people, and what it looks like to belong to the people of God.
Children (going into pre-school – 6th grade) meet in the Fellowship Hall on the lower level. Children will learn from three of the most memorable wisdom books in the Bible: The Psalms, wisdom from the Proverbs and the parables of Jesus. More than ever before, children need the wisdom God offers to navigate life in an ever changing world.
Meets on the main level, for children 1-4 years old. Learning Old Testament Bible stories. During Sunday school, the toddlers will play games, sing songs and have story time!
