Plan a Visit

What should I expect when I visit for the first time?

When You Arrive
You can park in any of the three lots surrounding the church building. Ushers are available at the both main entrances to the building to help you find your way to the Sanctuary for the service or to the Bell Tower to get your little ones signed in. The service begins at 9:30am. You can also find informational flyers in the turnstile at the back of the sanctuary with more info about ministries at BBC, our church constitution, upcoming events, additional resources and more!
For the Kids
We invite your kids to participate in our children’s ministries at Bethany! During the Worship Service, we provide childcare for infants (0-23months) and Toddlers (2-4 years old). Older kids will join their parents in the sanctuary and are invited to come up front during Kids’ Time. During Sunday school 11:15-12:15, we have classes for infants through 12th grade. Check out our Children’s & Teens Ministries page for more information.

Children can be signed into class 10 minutes prior to the start of class.

Please submit out our child registration form to save yourself some time on Sunday morning, or fill one out when you arrive.

About the Services
Worship services include a blend of worship through singing, scripture reading, corporate prayer, and Kids’ Time when the pastor invites the children to join him at the front of the sanctuary for a special children’s lesson. Pastor Brian Knight typically preaches a sermon that works through a given book of the Bible verse by verse. (In the fall of 2023 we started studying through the book of Galatians!) The service typically ends with a song after the sermon. Communion is celebrated regularly, usually on the first weekend of the month.
Singing
Each worship service is put together so that the songs, prayers, scripture and sermon all combine to present a unified message. We sing as a congregation to praise our God and to encourage our brothers and sisters. Our goal is to sing a variety of “styles” of worship music – from hymns to more modern praise songs to ancient psalms! Sunday’s songs are sent out in our email newsletter each Thursday so families can familiarize themselves with the upcoming music or check out our Sunday Songs playlist on YouTube. On Sunday mornings, the words for the songs are projected onto a screen at the front of the church – or you can use the hymnals for the hymns!
What to Wear
What you wear is of little concern to us. Dress how you’re most comfortable. Our focus is on providing a comfortable, friendly atmosphere that enables us to worship God and talk about life’s real issues.
After the Service
After the service we hope you’ll stay to introduce yourself or fill out a Welcome Card in the Bell Tower to help us connect with you. Then we hope you’ll join us in the lower level for coffee and donut holes, and consider staying for Sunday school – when we have some special programs for the kids and teens, as well an adult class.
