Adults

Sunday School

Adults will meet in the Fellowship Hall (lower level) from 11:15 am-12:15 pm

Current Series

Each week, our class will begin with a 30-minute teaching on a Psalm.

Following that lesson, Pastor Brian will share a brief teaching from Donald Whitney’s book Praying the Bible. He will then:

  • Lead a discussion on the key themes from the Psalm that was taught

  • Guide the class in considering how to pray through those themes together

  • Coordinate a time of prayer using the Psalm as our focus

This rhythm of Scripture, teaching, discussion, and prayer will help us grow together in both our understanding of the Psalms and our practice of prayer.

Women’s Studies:

Mid-Week Ladies’ Bible Studies

During the 2025-2026 school year, we have 5 women’s studies that meet throughout the week. All of the women’s groups will study through The Good Portion: Salvation and then transition to an inductive study of Hebrews.

TIMES AND LOCATIONS:

  • Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 pm @ Bethany Baptist Church | Leanne Black
  • Wednesdays 10:00 – 11:30 am @ Olson home (Hancock) | Peg Olson
  • Wednesdays 10:00-11:30 am @ Laplander home (Dollar Bay) | Jane Wright & Tonya Rowe
  • Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:00 pm @ Bethany Baptist Church | Maria Bergstrom & Libbie Petaja
  • Fridays 7:00 – 8:30am @ Bethany Baptist Church | Julie Cischke

These studies are intended to dig deeply into scripture. Bring your Bible, a pencil and a notebook. Contact the office to find out how you can get a copy of this year’s Bible study material or get more information on joining one of our groups. You can join at any time! Some of the advantages of participating in a mid-week Women’s study are getting to know other ladies more deeply, sharing what you are learning and the accountability to stay on track!

* On Wednesday evenings, childcare is provided for infants 0-4. Older children are encouraged to attend Kids 4 Truth or Youth Group

Men’s Studies:

Mid-Week Men’s Bible Studies

Men will meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:45-8:00pm, in the Fellowship Hall – lower level *

These are in-depth studies of scripture. Bring your Bible, notebooks and a pencil as we dig into the word. These studies are structured but also geared to stimulate discussion and application. You can join at any time. A great advantage to participating is being able to connect during the week to share what you are learning.

Men’s Systematic Theology Class*

Pastor Brian is leading the class through Wayne Grudem’s Systematic Theology. This class will meet on alternating Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm. The schedule will follow the normal school year, taking occasional breaks from holidays and the summer season. The entire material will take over two years to complete.

See the Events page for currently schedule class sessions.

If you are interested in participating in this course, please contact Pastor Brian. The following texts are required material for this course: Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem and Systematic Theology Workbook. Please purchase a copy of each and bring them to each class!

Contact the office for more information on our Men’s Studies.

* On Wednesday evenings, childcare is provided for infants 0-4. Older children are encouraged to attend Kids 4 Truth or Youth Group
