This year Bethany Baptist is going to celebrate Independence Day in two special ways:
1.) Popsicle/Water Give-Away
Volunteers will meet here at 10 am and should plan to be ready to start handing out popsicles and bottles of water by 11:00 am in time for the parade which begins at noon. When the parade is over, there will be a brief time of clean-up before volunteers can head home.
2.) BBC Parade Float
This year we will have a float in the Lake Linden, Hubbell and Dollar Bay parades. We are looking for help with the construction as well as for volunteers to ride on the float and walk in the parade. Walkers/riders in the parade will need to be in Lake Linden on the 4th at 8:45am for the line up.
Another day of float construction fun will take place on Monday July 2nd at Ed DeForge’s barn. (Ed’s barn is on M-26, between the Drive-Thru Depot and Louies’ SuperFoods.) Please meet at Ed’s at 3:00pm, ready to do some building!
