Though a native of lower Michigan, Alex considers the Copper Country his home. As an engineering student, he enjoyed the small-town atmosphere and genuine nature of the people. Having met through campus ministry at MTU, he and his wife Amanda were blessed to return to the area over a decade ago. With his primary vocation in the engineering field, Alex has transitioned toward leadership roles and is actively pursuing a master’s degree in Strategic Leadership from Bethel University. At work, in the home, and in the church, Alex desires to lead and serve others according to God’s design and to encourage and help them grow in their faith.
Together with their three children, Alex and Amanda enjoy camping and exploring the outdoors, the creative challenge of repurposing old things, and sharing the joys and trials of life with other people around a campfire, at a local restaurant, or in their home.
