Word of Life is a children’s program that utilizes Bible stories, verse memorization, daily Quiet Times, games and individual coaching to help our elementary school aged children to grow in their faith. We meet every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 in the lower level of BBC. The children will meet for a time of fun singing and engaging, age-appropriate teaching first and then we separate the boys and girls and divide them up into four levels: Gopher Buddies (4-5 year olds), Challengers (1-2 grade), Conquerors (3-4 grade) and Champions (5-6 grade). In these smaller groups, the children spend some time with their “coaches” and will spend some time in the gym. (For gym time we combine all levels, but have separate game time for boys and girls.). The Gopher Buddies join the older kids for the song time at the beginning and then have their own program of games, gym time, verse memorization, stories and snacks!
To help us plan for material and staffing, please sign-up your children up in the back of the sanctuary.
In order to provide each child with the devotional book and bag for each grade level, please consider a $10 donation per child that you sign up. Money should be marked “Word of Life” and can be placed in the offer plate or the Book Box on the table near the Toddler classroom.
