Summer Bible Studies

Youth group, adults and families, join us on Wedesday evenings for our Summer Bible Study series!

During the Summer our Wednesday evening ministries as are follows:

Youth Group (grades 6-12):  Meet at 6:30pm in the Youth Room to study 1 John. (Note: Our study of Jesus’ “Sermon on the Mount” has been moved to the fall!)  Our time ends at 8:00pm.

Adults and Families: Meet in the Fellowship Hall from 7:00-8:00pm to work through R.C. Sproul’s teaching titled “The Parables of Jesus”.

During Jesus’ earthly ministry, one of the primary ways He would instruct His disciples was through parables. People would gather from far and wide in order to listen to what Jesus said about the kingdom of God, and the most common way He would explain the kingdom was in parables. But what does God want us to learn from these parables? In this series, Dr. R.C. Sproul examines several parables of Jesus, exploring the rich truths they reveal about who Jesus is and what He came to achieve through His life, death, and resurrection.

This will be a 12 week study where we watch a short video and then have some time for discussion.

There is an accompanying study guide that we are offering either electronically (free) or printed ($5).  If you are interested in having a study guide as we work through this material, please contact the church office by email or phone!

There will be no childcare during this study, but you are welcome to bring your whole family!  Each week we will keep the study time to 45 minutes in order to have about 15 minutes for fellowship…and possibly ice cream!
