June 28-30th, our church family has 4 special opportunities to get to know Karin van den Bosch – the missionary who runs Abraham’s Oasis Children’s Home in Ethiopia.
Friday 6/28 @ 6:30-9:00pm — Join us at Gary and Cindy Miller’s for a potluck dinner. Bring a dish to share and help welcome Karin to the Keweenaw. For directions to the Millers’ house, please contact the church office.
NOTE: As of 6/24, Karen’s itinerary has been finalized and this event is officially happening!
Saturday 6/29 @ 6-8pm — Ice Cream Social Open House at BBC. Stop in to enjoy some ice cream and have a chance to talk with Karin more about what she is doing in Ethiopia. There is no formal program, come when it works for you and your family!
Sunday 6/30 @ 9:30am — During our Sunday morning worship service, Karin will be presenting her ministry at Abraham’s Oasis. (Sunday School will run as usual.)
Sunday 6/30 @ 6:00pm — Karin will be speaking at our Family Life Service. She is planning to share some personal stories and anecdotes about her experiences over the years with the children at Abraham’s Oasis.
