Join us as we explore the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of the Mission of the Church on October 13-14, 2018.
Abby’s whole team that is heading to Papua New Guinea will be joining us for this special weekend. Come learn from them and get to know them!
Here is an outline of the events that we have scheduled for our Focus on Missions Weekend:
Saturday, October 13:
Focus on Missions Session and International Potluck (5:00-8:00pm)
All of BBC is invited to come to the church for a fun evening of training and fellowship!
5:00pm – Teaching Session #1: “What is the Mission?” presented by Drew Sanford from Abby’s PNG team
(There will be games in the gym for children 5:45-6:00pm)
6:00pm – International Potluck (Bring a foreign dish to share!)
7:00pm – Teaching Session #2: “Who are we investing in?” and “Where are our circles of influence?” presented by Caleb Jackson
Sunday, October 14:
Focus on Missions Sessions with Abby’s Team
9:30am – Teaching Session #3: “Why do we do Missions?” and “When do we go? When are we on Mission?” presented by Caleb Jackson
(Children ages 4 and up will join their parents for this session.)
10:45am – Fellowship Time and Coffee Break
11:15am – Q & A Session with Abby’s Team: “How will the Papua New Guinea Team be fulfilling the Mission?”
(Children ages 4 and up will join their parents for this session.
